Biography


Edward Trybek is a composer, orchestrator, and conductor whose work spans music for films, television, and video games. As an orchestrator and conductor he has worked on over 800 episodes of television (The Mandalorian, The Walking Dead, Mickey Mouse, Agents of SHIELD), over 100 feature films (Minions: Rise of Gru, Sonic the Hedgehog, Venom, The Suicide Squad), and some of the highest grossing video games (God of War, Death Stranding, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and III, Star Wars: Battlefront), collaborating with composers such as: Danny Elfman, Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL), Ludwig Göransson, Heitor Pereira, Marco Beltrami, Henry Jackman, Bear McCreary, Pinar Toprak, Daniel Pemberton, Christopher Willis, and Kris Bowers. As a composer and arranger, Edward Trybek has contributed to films (Christopher Robin, Entourage, Frank vs. God), television (Eureka, Caprica), and video games (Star Wars: Battlefront, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Knights of the Fallen Empire).

In addition to two solo classical guitar albums, Portrait of Edward Trybek (2007) and Images of Spain (2008), Edward Trybek released a duo album, Cadencia (2012), with acclaimed mezzo-soprano Iris Malkin.  Mr. Trybek has appeared in concert both internationally (Greece, Canada, France, Thailand, Japan, Germany, and Austria) and throughout the U.S.

After studying jazz guitar at the distinguished High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Edward Trybek moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to study classical guitar at U.S.C. with Scott Tennant and Pepe Romero, receiving his B.M. (2003), M.M. (2005), and D.M.A. (2016).
